1. Information we collect

Business information from public sources. We find local businesses through publicly available listings, such as Google Maps and public business pages on Facebook. From these we collect business details: business name, business phone number, business email address, city and state, type of business, publicly posted photos of your work and public reviews.

Information you give us. When you reply to our emails, fill in a form on our website, text us or speak with us, we collect what you share, such as your name, phone number, email address, your business details, your messages and any photos or content you send for your website.

Text messaging information. If you agree to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent (when and how you gave it).

Payment information. If you buy our services, payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store full card details.

Website usage. Our website and the website previews we build for you may record basic, anonymous usage data, such as pages visited and the date and time of a visit, to understand whether a preview has been viewed.

2. How we use your information

We use this information to:

  • contact your business about a website we have built or can build for you;
  • show you a website preview using your public business details and photos;
  • answer your questions, make the changes you ask for and put your website live;
  • send you text messages you have agreed to receive (see section 4);
  • bill you and provide hosting and updates if you become a customer;
  • keep records required by law and protect against fraud or misuse.

We only use your business's publicly available information to prepare a preview for you. If you tell us you are not interested, we stop contacting you and stop using it.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our email sending platform, our customer relationship and messaging platform, our website hosting provider and our payment provider. They may use it only to provide their service to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

4. Text messaging (SMS)

We send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, either by ticking the text message consent box on a form on our website or by replying to our email and confirming they want to be contacted by text.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See our Terms of Service for the full text messaging terms.

5. Email

If you do not want to receive emails from us, reply to any email and say so, and we will stop. We will also stop if you reply "STOP" or "unsubscribe".

6. How long we keep your information

We keep information about businesses we have contacted for as long as it is useful for that contact, and at most 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. We keep customer and billing records for as long as we provide services to you and afterwards for as long as the law requires. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only your email address and phone number on a do-not-contact list, so that we do not contact you again.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, or to stop receiving marketing. Because we are based in the European Union, these rights include your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and you may complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) or your local authority. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@onelifegtm.com. We will reply within 30 days.

Our legal basis for contacting businesses is our legitimate interest in offering services to businesses that may benefit from them. Our legal basis for text messages is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it.

9. International transfers

We are based in Portugal and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
